Divakar Rajamani
Dr. Divakar Rajamani is a professor and managing director of the Center for Intelligent Supply Networks at The University of Texas at Dallas. Rajamani has had a 10-year career in industry at such companies as i2 Technologies and General Motors, where he worked in a consulting capacity. His areas of expertise include lean manufacturing, product lifecycle management, factory planning and transition planning. He also served on the faculty of the University of Manitoba from 1990-1996. He has published articles in the operations research field and co-authored a book, Cellular Manufacturing Systems: Design, Planning and Control, which was published in 1996.
Gene Deluke
Gene Deluke has over 30 years experience in the fields of supply chain management, consulting, software implementations and training and education. Currently, he is the associate director of the Center for Intelligent Supply Networks at The University of Texas at Dallas. In this role he: 1) markets the center 's services to industry leaders, 2) teaches in the Supply Chain Management and Lean 6 Sigma professional certificate programs and 3) teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in the School of Management degree programs. He has worked for several large companies such as Texas Instruments, EDS, i2 Technologies and SAP America. Deluke holds bachelor's degrees in mathematics and industrial engineering and a master's degree in engineering administration. He is an active member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), where he has served as a board member and a conference and dinner speaker. He holds APICS certifications as a CPIM and CIRM.
Paul L. Campbell
Paul Campbell has 30 years of experience in operations and supply chain management, including 20 years experience with Frito-Lay. in various supply chain functions where he implemented significant productivity improvements in manufacturing and distribution. Prior experience includes managing positions in manufacturing and materials management with firms in electronic connectors and manufacturer of CNC machining centers. Campbell has developed supply chain processes at all levels from purchasing and manufacturing to warehouse and distribution to customer service and collaboration. He completed his MBA at Gannon University and has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Pennsylvania State University.
Surya N. Janakiraman
Dr. Surya N. Janakiraman is an associate professor of accounting and information management at The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining UT Dallas, he taught at the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University. He has a Ph.D. in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Janakiraman's academic achievements include Dean's Fellowship at the Wharton School, representing the Wharton School at the doctoral consortium and obtaining a dissertation fellowship award from Arthur Andersen. Janakiraman's non-academic work experience includes production responsibilities in a major automobile manufacturing firm, project management for a manufacturing company and management consulting with a leading accounting firm. He has published in articles the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, European Journal of Operations Research, Journal of Productivity Analysis and Managerial Finance. He has also co-authored a research monograph, Balanced Scorecard: Linking Strategy to Performance, published by the Research Foundation of the Financial Executives International.
Ram Natarajan
Dr. Ram Natarajan is an associate professor of accounting and information management at The University of Texas at Dallas. He has a Ph.D. in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is professionally qualified as a cost accountant. He previously taught at the University of Michigan Business School and at Southern Methodist University. Natarajan has been recognized twice for superior teaching performance at Southern Methodist University and was nominated for the Chancellor's Council Outstanding Teaching Award at UT Dallas. His accomplishments have also been recognized with an outstanding doctoral dissertation award from the American Accounting Association and research fellowships from Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. Natarajan's research addresses questions pertaining to analysis of productivity and efficiency in organizations, the determinants of CEO compensation, use of accounting performance measures for performance evaluation and links between corporate disclosure policies and managerial incentives.
David Alev
David Alev is a principal at the Consulting Academy specializing in improving professional services competence and profitability by enabling project teams with business savvy and client service skills. Alev's 28-year career spans college-level teaching, production management, software development/marketing and project positions at all levels. He has experience in hiring and counseling consultants, service delivery and methodology development. His most recent positions were senior manager with Deloitte Consulting Group's SAP practice and vice president/account manager with Cap Gemini America's Package Based Solutions group.
Abhi Biswas
Abhi Biswas is the director of the Graduate Marketing Certificate program and a full-time faculty member at The School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Biswas has over 19 years of teaching experience, including courses at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. He has been consistently recognized for outstanding teaching at all three institutions. Over the years, he has taught a diverse range of MBA and EMBA courses, including Consumer Behavior, International Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Research, Pricing Strategy, Marketing Strategy, and Advertising and Promotion. Biswas also has over nine years of industry work experience and consulting experience in the areas of product feasibility studies, ethnographic research, business plan development and marketing training and development.
