Admission Requirements

Acceptance into our program is not automatic. Our admissions committee focuses on selecting candidates who can best complete the rigorous program and contribute to class diversity and quality.

Requirements include:

An acceptable undergraduate degree record in any field. We require official transcripts from all the colleges and universities you attended.
Approximately ten years or more of full-time business experience with relevant managerial experience. (minimum 5 years)
A successful interview with the program director.
A laptop with modem and Internet access, and proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office for word-processing, presentations and spreadsheets.
Knowledge of elementary calculus. We will hold tutorials to help applicants meet the calculus requirements.
A complete application including a resume and a written Personal Statement, described in the application form.
Three letters of recommendation on forms supplied by the Executive MBA program.
Corporate approval of enrollment in the case of employed applicants.
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is not required.

Application

If you are interested in applying or learning more about the Executive MBA, you may:

Order an Executive MBA program brochure and application forms by either completing an online request (Request Brochure and Application Forms) or calling 972-883-5983.
Attend an on-campus information session. We offer these one evening per month at 5:15 p.m. The session lasts about 60 to 90 minutes. You will hear from Executive MBA faculty and staff, students and alumni.
Check with your employer for any tuition reimbursement program that might be available. Discuss with your manager his or her willingness to let you miss one Friday of work per month.
Submit all of the application paperwork.

Application Fee

$1300 application fee/deposit must be submitted with application forms.

The $1300 will be applied as follows:

$300 Non-refundable application fee
$1000 Deposit to hold your seat in the class and credited toward tuition; if you are admitted to the program or
$1000 Deposit, non-refundable; if you are admitted to the program and decline to attend or
$1000 Deposit refunded; if you are not admitted to the program.

Admission Decisions

Executive MBA classes begin in late August. Applicants are considered for admission on a rolling basis beginning in December. Applications made after July 15th will be considered on a space-available basis. We will advise you in writing of your admission status within seven business days of receiving a complete application.
