M.S. in Accounting and
Information Management

The Master of Science in Accounting and Information Management degree program provides a tailored educational experience that encourages:

The Accounting and Information Management program is a leader in developing the professional skills that are needed for the core services identified by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants as being fundamental to the future of the profession. Students are offered a choice among seven concentrations that relate to these core services, including financial planning and analysis, assurance services, taxation services, international services, management consulting, software management and information management.

Upon completion of the M.S. degree in Accounting and Information Management, students may sit for the Uniform CPA Examination, provided they meet the educational requirements. Students can pursue a curriculum designed for careers in auditing and tax services or a curriculum designed for contemporary information and software management careers.

Concentrations for non-business undergraduate degree holders who wish to obtain a broad exposure to financial accounting are advised to follow Concentration I – Financial Planning and Analysis.
