Degree Plan
The university's general degree requirements are discussed here.
Specifically, the Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management and Administrative Sciences involves completing a 36-hour program consisting of 10 hours of basic core courses, courses in a selected area of concentration and electives. Areas of concentration are finance, electronic commerce, and organizations and strategy, supply chain management, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
Prerequisite knowledge in calculus and competence in personal computing are requirements for the program. You may remedy a deficiency in calculus by taking MATH 5304 (Applied Mathematical Analysis for Non Majors I) or MATH 1325 (with a B or better). You may demonstrate competence in personal computing by completing BA 3351 with a grade of B or better or by completing an equivalent course at another university with a grade of B or better. You will not earn degree credit for program prerequisites, and you must cover any necessary prerequisites during the first 12 credit hours of the graduate program.
Students may elect to submit a master's thesis, which counts as three credit hours toward the total course requirements. Students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average in both core courses and in aggregate courses to qualify for the M.S. degree.
