Prospective Students

The Global MBA Online (GMBA) program extends delivery of the UT Dallas School of Management's professional MBA program to students who cannot commit to regularly scheduled classes on campus. The GMBA is taught by nationally recognized full-time faculty who also teach in the on-campus MBA program.

The GMBA is a 53-credit-hour program anchored by the same 29 hours of core courses as the MBA delivered in the classroom. Electives (24 hours) draw from the school's academic areas of international management, marketing, information management systems, accounting, finance and organizational behavior.

Admission requirements and tuition are basically the same as the professional MBA program at UT Dallas. Like the campus-based program, courses are offered during the three regular semesters, which start in January, May and August. Students are not organized into distinct classes (cohort groups), but select course loads consistent with their own part-time pace. There is no residency requirement; courses are completely online, and the program requires no campus visits (unless UT Dallas is chosen as a proctored exam site).
