"I found this program both extremely rewarding and challenging. The format is exceptionally geared to busy, geographically dispersed professionals and as such, requires an exceptional degree of self discipline. I would recommend the global MBA program without reservation to anyone who could not attend classes on campus."

—Luis Claudio-Jaramillo, Global MBA, Summer 2008

"I absolutely loved the online program. I began my MBA seven years ago and would not have been able to complete the program in a traditional classroom setting. Work was the primary reason but I also wanted the extra time to spend with my family. I would highly recommend this program. The quality and caliber of professors is amazing. With the flexibility of online, I was able to plan my workload according to my schedule. My overall experience is invaluable. I implement the concepts and tactics I learned on a daily basis in my marketing career and it has been very successful. It has been my pleasure! Thanks to all my professors, TAs and the UTD staff. You have impacted my life."

—Asha Patel, Global MBA, Summer 2008

"Originally from Canada, I was living internationally with a young family. I required a program that would move the classroom to my location and be able to adapt to my busy schedule. The Global MBA program provided flexibility without loss of program quality. The GMBA has provided me with a clear understanding of how business is conducted and how people and organizations interact. I have found the principles to be relevant to the conditions under which commercial operations are conducted in the Middle East, Europe and the Former Soviet Union."

— Michael Aikman, Global MBA, May 2007

"With a full-time job and two young children, it was difficult to schedule classes on campus that I would consistently be able to attend.  The Global Online program was definitely the alternative I needed to be able to pursue an MBA.  The online program offered me the flexibility I needed as well as the challenging courses I wanted and expected from UTD.  Most of the online courses proved to be more challenging than on-campus courses.  Surprisingly, there was much more student interaction online than in a typical classroom. I would highly recommend the Global MBA Online program to anyone wanting to pursue an MBA."

— April Mims, Global MBA, May 2006

"I chose to pursue my degree online because I work full time, I'm in the military, I lived in four states while I worked on my degree and I hate sitting in class. I thought the online format was very effective for the MBA program."

— James Christensen, Global MBA, May 2006

“I had a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, and wanted to upgrade my business skills but was skeptical about MBAs. A friend mentioned the online MBA program at UTD. I looked it up and was impressed by its thoroughness. The application and admissions processes were smooth and responsive. I started courses from Austin, Texas, but three semesters into the program my family moved to Turkey. At first I thought leaving behind a proximity to the Dallas campus would be difficult, but then remembered that one of my classmates had been attending from Japan.

You have to develop certain skills to succeed in online education. You learn to prioritize your life, to schedule a sensible pace and to hold really productive meetings with your group members using virtual media. Compared to a campus program, you take on more responsibility for your education. Naturally, one might think that completely online education leaves out certain good things that face-to-face interaction brings. There is no front row seat in an online class. But it also leaves out many unpleasant things. There is no lost time for commuting, no missed classes due to schedule conflicts, and you have the ability to customize streaming audio lectures for review.

The online MBA program at UTD made the impossible possible for me. I had an extraordinary learning experience and gained a wider set of skills than a regular classroom setting would allow. I highly recommend UTD's online MBA program."
