UT Dallas Accounting Online Degree Program

Accounting and Information Management offers a number of courses online, which are available to all students.

Students can complete all requirements online for the Master of Science in Accounting and Information Management. Students interested in completing the degree online follow the same admission procedures as on-campus students.

The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy requires that 15 of the 30 hours of accounting required to sit for the CPA exam must be completed on-campus. Students may transfer up to 12 hours of approved coursework from another institution. Students who want to transfer credit for courses they plan to take at another institution must submit their request for pre-approval early in the semester before they complete the course. Students living outside Texas should check with their respective state boards of public accountancy regarding requirements in their states for taking the CPA exam.
