Preparing to Meet New Challenges

The UT Dallas School of Management is committed to providing students an outstanding educational experience, one that will expand and sharpen their skills, help them become leaders in business and launch them into the business world with strong career prospects.

Our undergraduate programs stress innovations in the latest technologies while providing a foundation in the basics of business management.

A 120-hour curriculum leads to a bachelor of science degree in three majors and five concentrations. All degrees require a central core of 27 hours. In the core courses, students have an opportunity to learn theories and analytical techniques that can be applied to the functional areas of business, such as finance and marketing. Students are exposed to the international dimensions of business activities and to social and political factors that impact business behavior.

A capstone course in strategic management allows students to solve real-world business problems. Students are also required to take courses outside the School of Management in order to broaden their educational experience in preparation for leadership roles as professionals and/or managers in modern business organizations.
